Every crew knows this

Setting off together is easy. Staying together isn’t.

Convoy lostWhoever drives at the back doesn’t know where the lead turned – and nobody up front notices.
Radio is a hassleTwo-way radios are a pain, WhatsApp while driving is dangerous.
No signalIn the mountains and off the road, reception is gone exactly where you need it.
EmergencyWhen something happens, nobody knows right away who is where and whom to call.
Features

Radio, cockpit and clubhouse in one app.

Everything a crew needs on the road – with big buttons, made for the dashboard mount.

Push-to-talk

Like a walkie-talkie, for the whole group or private. The tour leader has priority.

Live convoy

Every car on the map and the convoy bar, gaps in seconds, who is leading and who is last.

Convoy guard

Alerts the tour leader when a car falls behind, stops or goes silent – with “Next stop” to everyone.

No signal needed

The phones form a mesh and pass radio, positions, hazards and SOS from car to car.

Hazards & hints

Rockfall, wildlife, police, oil – at the right spot. The cars behind hear it exactly there.

Crash & rollover detection

Detects impacts and rollovers and alerts the crew with your position – the emergency call only on your confirmation.

Navigation & offline maps

Turn-by-turn voice incl. roundabout exits, tunnel announcements and maps per tour to download – worldwide.

Recap, heart rate & Watch

Every ride with sections and curves. Heart rate from Apple Watch or a chest strap – private unless you share it.

Two worlds, one app

Pass road or trail – RUDX adapts.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does RUDX work without cell signal?

Yes. The iPhones in the convoy connect directly (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi) and pass on radio, positions, hazards and SOS. With signal, everything also runs through our server in Switzerland.

Do I have to operate anything while driving?

As little as possible: one big talk button, RUDX announces everything else. On the Apple Watch there’s nothing to press – it only vibrates when it matters.

Who can see where I am?

Only your group and only during the tour. Inside your home zone no position is sent at all.

What happens in a crash?

RUDX detects strong impacts and rollovers, starts a countdown and alerts your crew with your position. You place the emergency call yourself – RUDX shows you the right number for the country you are in.

Which devices does RUDX run on?

iPhone (iOS 17 or later) with the Apple Watch as a companion. Android is planned.

Which languages are available?

The app and website are available in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish – including all voice announcements. More languages will follow.

How much does RUDX cost?

Riding along is free, and the safety features always are. Premium starts at CHF 34 a year, Organiser at CHF 79 – each for road or offroad, both together for less. Everything is free during the beta.

Coming soon to the App Store.
